I love springtime with St. Patrick's Day signaling the end of winter and Easter right around the corner! I've already set the table with shamrocks and green, put them away, and now the bunnies and pretty Easter candy has found their way on top of a pretty new spring tablecloth, and it's only March 6th.
It's not really a new tablecloth, as it was lovingly used before it came my way. A William-Sonoma pretty green and white plaid with a floral border. The pinks are on the coral side which works well in my dining room with its persimmon walls.
I added a new green moss bunny this year. A playful rolly-poley little thing that came to me with a broken ear which I tenderly mended with E6000. I mounted her on a cake round then hot-glued moss and lichen to the round. I love a bit of earthiness with all the pastels and dishware. I found a pretty silk flower for her head, and placed her on a cake stand. Under the cake stand is a grapevine wreath adorned with flowers and greenery, hence, the centerpiece.
Her two friends are nearby with their raffia bowties.
